Help the Search Engines Find Your Shop

Sometimes when I'm surfing the Internet, I remember the shop name of an online store that I'd like to visit, but I don't remember the Internet address. That's when I check search engines like Google and Yahoo to find the store. It's surprising how many times the website I'm seeking does not pop up. If you want the search engines to find your shop, remember to enter your shop name into the tagging keywords at least occasionally. Your shop name should be entered as a keyword when you set up your store, but it can also be added when tagging products as you add them to your product line. Additionally, you may want to enter the name of the hosting store where your shop resides. For instance, if your shop is at Zazzle and the name of your shop is Taggal, you would add "zazzle" and "taggal" to your keywords to increase visibility via Internet search engines. Try adding your shop name the next time you add a product. Wait a day or so and test this theory by doing searches with various search engines. A link to your store is very likely to appear and the chance of a link to your shop popping up during a search increases with each item you tag with your shop name. That's how you can help the search engines find your shop. |
