Recharging Cell Phones and Appliances By J L Winther Here are a couple tips about recharging cell phones and other products containing rechargable batteries. Turn off your cell phone before plugging it in to recharge it and it will recharge so much faster that you'll be amazed. If your battery operated vacuum or other appliance has been losing power and does not perform the way it did when it was new try this. Run the appliance power all the way down after using it. Just keep it turned on until it stops completely and then turn it off and recharge it. After doing this a few times the appliance should perform like new again. Batteries that are only partially used and then recharged begin to only partially accept a recharge. Optimum performance can be maintained by continually running the battery down before recharging the cell phone or appliance. Contributor's Note I hope you got a charge out of this. Charge on!
